California Proposition 65 Warning

What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses
to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects
or other reproductive harm. The State of California publishes and updates the list of these chemicals.
Which products does this apply to?
Cell phone accessories such as cases, holsters, cables and chargers may contain materials (for example PVC,
synthetic leather, wire coatings or solder) that contain listed chemicals. A Proposition 65 warning does not mean
a product violates any safety standard or requirement.
